Her parents adopted her at the age of three years old and who had been caring for her for a while after the birth of her daughter] Since there's such a wide span that are different between us, I began to be more intrigued by what their childhood was like. My fantasies were more focused on growing up in the 30s or '50s than that of others of who were similar to me. The personal side of my life. Olsen made public her decision to come out as gay on April 16 2021. Olsen revealed in 2022 that Adele Thibodeaux, her partner of five years, was leaving the partnership and that she was dating singer Meg Duffy, a longtime friendship for many months in 2020. Olsen became known as a queer in 2021, and she announced her new relationship via social media. Olsen is a native of and born in St. Louis Missouri, began performing at the local coffee bars when she was a teenager. Then she broke out, and began interacting with other musicians. In 2006 she moved to Chicago and collaborated with Californian musician Emmett Kel, who is part of The Cairo Gang. Her prior album All Mirrors from 2019 featured dark almost gothic synth-rock and affecting forays into orchestral pop. On Big Time the first album with which Olsen sings with a conscious focus on the subject of her sexuality, she shifts to a notably tradition-bound genre called country.
